Internet Snooping Bill – How to protect yourself

In the last few days the "Internet Snooping Bill" was passed. It is called Protecting Children From Internet Pornographers Act of 2011 - or PCIPA (Read More from the official site)

What does the bill mean? Overall the goal to protect children from internet Pornographers is a very worthy cause. However, in the process of protecting kids it also allows ISP's to maintain your browsing, surfing, and access history for 1 year. That means an ISP will have your IP, sites you visited, what you did online (email, ssh endpoints, etc..)

Here is a great article from lifehacker that describes the bill and some ways to protect from your information going public.

In the article they suggest using a VPN service. We at WiFi-vpn.com agree with that statement. Please look at our offering of vpn services. Starting at $4.00 a week to $9.00 per month. Signup today.
